we have recently completed two very special stones, one of them is at westpark cemetery and other one was exported to DRC,
Memorials for Those Who Want To Be Cremated.
It can be a daunting task to try keep the memories of our loved ones who wanted to be cremated instead of the old fashioned stile of burial. We should honor and keep the memories of our loved ones for the generations to come. In this time and age people are opting for this type of sendoff and we are left wondering how to go about in treasuring his memory. People used to keep the ashes of the loved ones in urns and keep it locked away in some place. Others would go for spreading the ashes to an ocean or something. At this modern time people are going away from that and building memorial sites and monuments in their honor.
A person who wishes to be cremated has plenty of options to select from before his or her passing. An individual who plans to be cremated may want to choose an urn or a memorial pillar to be used at his time of death. If he does not want to select particular monuments well that task may be done by the loved ones after the death. Urns are popular cremation accessories and have been so for along time. It can be stored or displayed in a variety of places.
According to the life lived by the deceased, urns nowadays have some nice art works and engravings, and come in very nice shapes and designs that depict the life lived by the deceased. They also vary in sizes, for adults and children. People also like to honor their pets when they die by using urns and other memorials for them. Nowadays individuals choose to have memorial sites made for their loved ones, which may be similar to those used at grave sites. Most memorials come in as designs of pillars erected at the memorial ground or use a head stone for this matter. A cremation pillar or head stone may be made of granite, marble or bronze and would have engravings of the deceased like the name and birth date or some message. Numerous pillars have designs carved onto them like angels, flowers and lovers hearts. The pillar might be designed in the same shape that the urn would look like and may also include some statues and sculptures added to the memorial site.
For those who come from well off families may consider placing their urns or memorial pillars inside mausoleums. A mausoleum or a tomb might be used only for one individual or be designed for the whole generations of family members. If you decide to have a tombstone or a pillar at your memorial site then you might as well want to design it beforehand.
